I am very interested in the way color is perceived by our minds and the effect that it has on us. The majority of my studio time is spent experimenting with many new ways to incorporate color and patterns in casted, wheel thrown, and hand built forms.

As mentioned, I have a great curiosity around color, and recently, I have been wondering the same things about light. Thinking about these two elements has brought me to my current work studies. I’ve been making pieces that incorporate both sculpture and light. So far I have discovered many new experimental techniques, I am working on how to translate these findings in a way to strengthen emotional impact between the viewer and the piece.
